Everything started, my last week in Peru was a mix between happiness, excitement, with some sad moments. By example, when i almost tell my parents that i didn't want to go on exchange anymore, thank god i didn't.
At the airport, well, at first when i went inside with my Rotary Blazer, EVERYONE, was starring at me, thing that i did know that was going to happen. Some friends went to the airport to say goodbye, i talked to them a bit before leaving. After that was the moment to say goodbye. Probably the saddest moment of these past months.
As soon as i hugged my mom i started to feel bad and to shed some tears. it was sad, though, i knew was part of exchange. after all the airport customs i went to the gate to wait for my flight, everyone was looking, you kinda feel famous, so, an exchange student. ;-)
I got sick, my flight to chile was the worst i've ever had. Bad food, bad air pressure, turbulence, mean flight hostess, i lost my Carry-on. When i arrived in chile was so bad, i had a Headache, i didn't have my carry-on and i was sick. Went to the VIP lounge, and stayed there for 1 hours, all dirty with my laptop, ipad and camera in hand, some hours before my flight i couldn't stand i went to claim my hand luggage. they gave it to me, and took a good nap.
It was the flight time, all the nervousness started to come. but the flight was awesome. good food, good movies (Iron Lady, The Pianist, Hangover).. and well, i also saw Borat, i needed to laugh a bit. ;-)
When i got to sydney i had problems with the Pisco i was bringing ;-) thank god Rotarians was there to help. The Campbell's picked me up, made me feel at home in their house! :-)
The next day i woke up for my flight to Wagga Wagga, it was a very short flight i got there and saw many people, around 15, they were there, Rotarians and my 4 host families!!!!! :-) i was so confuse though, didn't know where i was or for what, a feeling that just exchange students would understand. That was my journey to Australia, but the best was about to begin!! :-)
